Short Course Cancellation/Refund Policy

The Pittsburgh Conference may cancel any course because of insufficient enrollment or other unforeseen circumstances. If a program is canceled, the Conference will refund registration fees but cannot be held responsible for any other related costs, charges, or expenses, including cancellations/change charges assessed by airlines or travel agencies. Students will also be offered an opportunity to substitute another course in lieu of a refund.

Students who are unable to attend a course and desire a refund must make a written request to either of the following: shortcourses@pittcon.org, by fax to 412-825-3224, or by writing to Pittcon Short Courses, 300 Penn Center Blvd., Suite 332, Pittsburgh, PA 15235. Requests for refunds received by February 9, 2009 will be issued a full refund less a $15 processing fee. Requests received between February 9 and March 8, 2009 will incur a $100 administrative charge. There will be no refunds for requests received after February 20.  All refund fees are separate from and in addition to the fee charged for cancellation of meeting registrations. Substitutions are encouraged in place of refund requests and are permissible up until the time of the course by notifying the Short Course Office.
