

Pittcon® 2008 Student Workshops
Do your students enjoy hands-on activities and experiments…
of course they do!!
So bring them to the Student Workshops in Science Week at Pittcon®2008. They will work in groups of about thirty students and have an opportunity to attend six of the eight sessions listed below. Scheduling is random so no two groups will be attending the same six sessions. The total enrollment for each day is limited to 300 students.
All workshops are currently full. You may still register, but you will be placed on a waitlist.

The student workshops in Science Week at Pittcon®2008 will be offered March 3 through March 5, 2008, at the Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, Louisiana during Pittcon 2008. The program begins promptly at 9:00 AM and ends about 12:00 PM each day as indicated below.
Monday, March 3:
Elementary Students, Grades 4 - 6 (full: waitlist being offered)
Secondary Students, Grades 9 - 12 (full: waitlist being offered)
Tuesday, March 4:
Middle School Students, Grades 6 - 9 (full: waitlist being offered)
Wednesday, March 5:
Middle School Students, Grades 6 - 9 (full: waitlist being offered)
Space is limited in all workshops and selection of the schools will be first-come, first-served provided the following rules are followed:
- Students must arrive by the 9:00 AM start time
- Students must be chaperoned by a minimum of one adult for each 15 students
- All information requested in the application must be provided
There is no charge to the school for this program.
