![]() To complement the Exposition, Employment Bureau, and Short Course offerings, the Technical Program is packed with a week's worth of Invited Symposia, Workshops, Organized Contributed Sessions, New Product Forums, and Contributed Oral and Poster sessions to provide the world's most comprehensive coverage of the latest developments in the traditional and emerging disciplines of analytical chemistry and applied spectroscopy. New this year, the American Chemical Society Division of Analytical Chemistry will be co-programming with The Pittsburgh Conference. This will involve several invited symposia and contributed sessions as well as some poster sessions. The Pittsburgh Conference is excited to be able to work more closely with the ACS Analytical Division. The program is both broad in scope and well balanced. Major focus areas of the program include bioanalytical chemistry, pharmaceutical chemistry, nanotechnology, environmental chemistry, forensic analysis, life science technologies, food analysis, applied molecular spectroscopy, mass spectrometry, and chemical separations. In addition, a number of prestigious awards will be presented at Pittcon 2007 including the Pittcon Heritage Award, the Pittsburgh Analytical Chemistry Award, the Pittsburgh Spectroscopy Award, the Pittsburgh Conference Achievement Award, the Ralph N. Adams Award in Bioanalytical Chemistry, the ACS Analytical Chemistry Award for Young Investigators in Separation Science, the Charles N. Reilley Award, the Young Investigator Award, the Dal Nogare Award, the Williams-Wright Award, the Tomas P. Hirschfeld Award, and the Bomem-Michelson Award. |
